Welcome to Hunterfest!! Mr. Hunter is playing its first outdoor festival on Thursday July, 29. Music starts at 3:30 with Lucas Kane, Cryptic Skin and Mr. Hunter plays at 5:30. Artists, painters, animals, free spirits, and other lovers of being creative and free outside in the park will be there, and you should too!
Welcome to our festival. On July 29 Hunterfest will take place at the Naumberg Bandhsell in Central Park. The Bandshell is located in the middle of the park off of 72nd street. It’s right on the other side of Summer Stage and just 1 block south of Central Park Boathouse.
The Festival begins at 3:30 with Australian-born acoustic artist Lucas Kane. Lucas has performed live in Australia, Japan, and New York. After Lucas came to New York he was noticed at one of his gigs and invited down to Nashville to record his new album “My Name in Wingdings”. He currently also works with American poet Matthew Domino and is playing along the East Coast all summer.
Following Lucas at 4:30 is Cryptic Skin, a 3 piece group front by Natalie LaSpina on lead vocals and keyboard, a female guitarist and a DJ. Cryptic Skin has a jazzy electro/rock dance vibe, and is perfect for an outdoor festival!! Throwing down groove while hanging outside….makes sense, right?
At 5:30 Mr. Hunter takes the stage and is will be jamming into the night. We also have a few guests joining us throughout the show and have some good surprises planned. It’s the show we’ve always dreamed of and we can’t wait to play for you!!!
There will also be multiple painters and artists coming to add their visions to the festival to show their work and soul. Our festival is also child and pet friendly. There is no alcohol allowed as it is outside in Central Park and the normal rules apply there. We feel blessed that they have allowed us to have this event so please be respectful of their guideline.
